1970s
Thomas M Featherston, Jr., BBA ’71, JD ’72, was recognized by Baylor University for 40 years of service to the University. He serves as the Mills Cox Chair of Law at Baylor Law School.
1980s
Roland Garcia, BBA ’81, served as co-chair for the grand unveiling of the Latino cARTographies, the nation’s first portable, bilingual and interactive digital platform that maps Latino artworks and culture. He also chaired and emceed the 2022 Houston Hispanic Heritage Awards Ceremony.
Don Trammell, BBA ’83, MBA ’17, introduced an automatic tensioning delivery innovation designed to eliminate injuries using IoT (Internet of Things) to automate manually-intensive jobs.
1990s
Ryan Riggs, BA ’96, MSIS ’98, was appointed supervisory IT program manager with the Internal Revenue Service. He also serves on the board of directors of the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
2000s
Tucker Worster, BBA ’00, had his marketing and consulting firm, HearWorks, named to Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.
Micah Carlton, BBA ’02, was hired as the chief human resources officer for Summit Electric Supply in September 2022.
Kevin A Goodnight, BBA ’04, published “Dadvoted: Dads Devoted to Discovering their Duty, Direction, and Destiny.” The book is about dads of all stages to help them live out their purpose as a dad, husband and leader.
Tamara Sanderson, BBA ’06, co-wrote “Remote Works: Managing for Freedom, Flexibility, and Focus,” a manager’s guide for making radical changes in work cultures.
Jared Hernandez, BBA ’07, joined Lockheed Martin as a buyer in December 2022.
2010s
Mindy Sue Busch, BBA ’14, joined WindMass Capital, a private equity real estate firm, as a vice president. She previously spent more than eight years at Goldman Sachs in investment banking, asset management and executive office divisions.
Michael Bartlemay, BBA ’15, started Heroes Lawn Care in Austin in 2023. Heroes Lawn Care offers lawn care services from fertilization and irrigation, to removing toxic pet waste from lawns.
2020s
Will Baxter, BBA ’21, successfully received the first-ever traditional bank loan for Bitcoin mining in the United States.
