Dean’s Letter

The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) is an extraordinary place, defined by bright and inquisitive students, passionate and insightful faculty, and dedicated staff. It was Baylor’s Christian mission and commitment to excellence in business education and research that drew me here, and I am blessed to serve as the seventh dean of the Business School.

Since arriving in May 2025, I have been eagerly learning more about this exceptional community and connecting with our alumni. This issue of Baylor Business Review offers a glimpse into the meaningful work our graduates are doing around the world. We also celebrate the generosity of donors whose vision and support help bring vital programs to life. And our faculty continues to shape enlightened conversations in the business world through timely, relevant research.

This issue highlights what I noticed from the start. The Business School has high standards and an even higher calling. As you read through this edition of Baylor Business Review, I hope you are inspired by the many talents of our impactful community. HSB is a phenomenal place, and together, we will continue to advance our mission and momentum to make a difference for others to His greater glory.
